Frequently Asked Questions

Before getting started, you may have questions about how therapy works, what to expect, and the practical details of working together. The information below is meant to offer clarity around fees, scheduling, communication, and training so you can decide whether this feels like a good fit for you.

What can I expect from therapy?
Therapy is a collaborative and reflective space where we move at a pace that feels supportive and intentional. Sessions are guided by what feels most present and important to you, with an emphasis on understanding patterns, emotions, and relationships over time. You can expect a space that is thoughtful, nonjudgmental, and grounded in curiosity, where we work together to make sense of your experiences and support meaningful, lasting change.

What is your fee?
My fee is $160 per 50-minute individual session and $200 per couples session. Payment is due at the time of each session.

Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance. However, I am happy to provide a superbill upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Additionally, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots when availability allows.

How do payments work?

Payment is collected at the time of each session using a secure payment platform.

How long are sessions?

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length. Couples sessions are 60 minutes.

Do you offer telehealth or in-person sessions?
I offer both telehealth and in-person sessions. In-person sessions are held in Los Angeles, California.

What is your cancellation policy?
I require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

What is your communication policy outside of sessions?
Communication outside of sessions is limited to brief, logistical matters such as scheduling, billing, and telehealth access. Therapy or crisis support cannot be provided via text or email, as these are not secure methods for discussing clinical concerns. If something clinically relevant arises between sessions, it can be addressed during your next appointment. Messages are responded to during business hours, typically within one business day. If you are experiencing a crisis or need immediate support, please call 988 or visit your nearest emergency room.

Is therapy confidential?
Yes. All information shared in therapy is confidential, with exceptions required by law, such as situations involving risk of harm or mandated reporting.

What is your training and background?
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology. My clinical training includes work with individuals and couples at Maple Counseling Center in Los Angeles, along with clinical experience at Mental Wellness Center.

What is your license status?
I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #158600) practicing under clinical supervision. I am supervised by Dr. Rebecca Udell, LMFT, CSAT (License #53808). My work is informed by psychodynamic and relational approaches, with a strong emphasis on attachment and emotional insight.

How do I get started?
